The world-famous Rhinocerus of Albrecht Dürer (1514) as a giraffe. Dürers woodcut is based on a design, which he made after the narration and sketch of a far-traveled contemporary. He never came a genuine Rhinozeros to face.
Only as a Rhinozeros with giraffe neck it becomes so correctly clear why the good Nashorn actually looks so grimmig…
